Although his NBA season has already ended, Draymond Green continues to draw attention to himself by taking shots at Rudy Gobert. To the few who might not be aware, Draymond is a veteran star for the Golden State Warriors. Since the team was eliminated from playoff contention by the Sacramento Kings, Green, and the Warriors are currently undergoing a long offseason.
While the majority of members of the Warriors have a singular focus on playing basketball, Draymond has revealed to have other interests and even considers himself a part of the new media due to the fact that his podcast discusses ongoing league activities from the perspective of a player.
Since Rudy Gobert and the Minnesota Timberwolves have gone further than anyone saw coming by defeating the Denver Nuggets, the team has been a subject of interest and discussion among fans. However, Dramoynd’s latest statements and activities have also given him a fair share of attention.Draymond Green will be a part of the Inside the NBA crew for the Western Conference Finals
Due to the fact that Draymond has quite a personality and seems interested in becoming a part of the media, he was invited to share the panel on Inside the NBA, a halftime show featuring other former NBA stars such as Shaquille O’Neal and Charles Barkley.

Having Draymond as a part of the crew that will be covering the Western Conference Finals is certainly something that has NBA fans amused. Especially since Green appears to have a personal bias against Rudy Gobert and was unable to hide it during the latest episode of his podcast.
Although Gobert and his team won Game 7 and eliminated the Nuggets, Draymond Green pointed out that Nikola Jokic was looking for a matchup against Gobert and dominated Rudy and helped the Nuggets keep pace with the Timberwolves. Draymond claimed that Karl-Anthony Towns did a much better job stopping Jokic and that the Nuggets were desperate to switch Jokic onto Gobert.
While Draymond may have made some valid points, there is no denying that Gobert is a significant force on the defensive end of the court. After all, he recently won the DPOY award and is an elite rim protector. Green’s statements may make fans wonder why he appears to be taking personal shots at a fellow player.Green and Gobert are both known for their defensive abilities
It could be considered wrong to claim that players in the league are jealous of each other. However, this appears to be the case. Although Draymond has won 4 NBA championships and helped the Warriors with his defensive abilities, he is now done for the season while Gobert is still helping his team make a deep postseason push.
Both of them are also known for their impressive defensive skills as opposed to scoring. Since Draymond wishes to solidify his claim as one of the best defenders of all time, fans can certainly understand why he looks to put down Gobert regardless of the overall outcome of his performance.
In any case, one must wonder how Draymond will do on the Inside the NBA panel and if he will hide his personal bias against Gobert throughout the Western Conference Finals.
