Jayden Daniels is a quarterback who plays for the Louisiana State University (LSU) Tigers team. Earlier, he used to play for the Arizona State University Sun Devils. He is currently 22 years old and was born on December 18th, 2000, in San Bernardino County, California.
Jayden Daniels played at Cajon High School in California, where he was a four-star recruit. After finishing high school, he decided to join the Arizona State Sun Devils. In his freshman season itself, Jayden Daniels replaced starting quarterback Dillon Sterling-Cole. He pioneered his side to victory against the Florida State Seminoles at the 2019 Sun Bowl (20-14).
Daniels decided to leave the ASU after they were under investigation by the NCAA. According to reports, the ASU violated recruiting regulations and recruited during the COVID-19 pandemic. He switched over to Louisiana State University in 2022.

In fact, from an early age, Jayden practiced his football skills along with his father, Javon Daniels. The father-son duo used to practice together, and this was the start of his footballing career. During that budding stage, Jayden was inspired by former Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb. It is for that reason that he prefers to wear jersey number 5.
Regina Jackson is the proud mother of young Jayden. She constantly supports her son at all times. In fact, she has actively raised questions regarding the football program at Arizona State, which shows her concern about her son’s career. Jayden has a brother, Jordan, and a sister, Janae.

In his short career until now, Jayden Daniels has some impressive numbers to his name. He has completed 152 out of his 208 pass attempts for 2,294 yards, including 22 touchdowns and 3 interceptions. Daniels also has 2,000 rushing yards to his name after 51 career games.

He has a pass efficiency rating of 197.7 and an overall offense rating of 401.3. Daniels is averaging an incredible 327.7 average yards per game. He has become the first player in LSU Tigers history to reach 5,000 passing yards and 1,000 rushing yards. He was honored with the Charles McClendon MVP Award in 2022 and 2023 AP Midseason All-America Second Team honors.
