Cyberpunk 2077’s latest Phantom Liberty expansion comes with a lot of perks and objects, that are transforming the entire Cyberpunk 2077 game experience for the players. Among the several additions made to the expansion are iconic weapons that give players an additional advantage on the streets of Night City.
These iconic weapons can be obtained as the player progresses through the game. They can be found while exploring Dogtown and raiding Increased Criminal Activity gang dens. Similarly, they are available for free which players can get for owning other CDPR games.
Iconic Weapons and Cyberware in Cyberpunk 2077 are unique versions of the existing weapons in the game. Each of these iconic weapons comes with stats that are the same as any other generic weapon in the game. However, they offer a custom effect that is not available on any other weapon.
In the past version, these unique effects made Iconic weapons considerably stronger than their non-Iconic versions. The developers also buffed the effects of weapon mods and made Iconic weapons unmoddable, to rein in their power.
These Iconic Weapons can be typically found in the areas where the Main Mission content is found. While some weapons are the primary point of a room, others are usually tucked in a corner, easily miss-able. At times, the reading material in the area will inform players that there is an Iconic item to be found close by.
Such as many of the Shards, Messages, and Files found at the parade float warehouse in Arasaka Industrial Park refer to a prototype weapon known as the Shingen Mark V. Lo. Besides, players can find the Prototype: Singen Mark V Iconic SMG in one of the shipping containers located on the premises.
