Tyson Fury snapped Wilder’s 43 fight win-streak when he picked up a TKO win in the 7th round back in February to win the WBC heavyweight championship. In the process, Fury also became the Lineal Champion and the Ring Champion, becoming only the second fighter to hold the Ring and WBC heavyweight championship after Tyson Fury.
Tyson Fury drops intense training video and calls out Deontay Wilder
While the first encounter between both these heavyweight greats ended in a controversial draw, Fury didn’t leave the results in the judges’ hand in the second fight. In an absolutely impeccable display of boxing, Fury outsmarted, out-landed, and dominated the now-former Champion to pick up the win.
Earlier in an interview with ESPN, Fury looked back at his emphatic win and claimed that he will emerge victorious in the trilogy bout. Fury is expected to take on Anthony Joshua in a unification bout to determine the greatest heavyweight boxer of the modern era. The bout between Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury is already being billed as the greatest boxing match in British history.

“I’ve watched that fight about 10 times, all the way through from start to finish, but I’ve watched the highlights quite a lot because I like to examine the work that I’ve done. I wanted to see how Wilder was conquered by different things and different scenarios,” Fury said.
Recently, Tyson Fury posted a training video on Twitter, where he can be seen calling out Deontay Wilder. While it’s still not clear when both the boxers will face each other, it’s expected to take place before 2020.

Tyson Fury will look to further cement his position in the Heavyweight division with a big win over Wilder. Fury has already signed a 2 fight contract with Anthony Joshua and recently ran into the current three-organization heavyweight champion. Deontay Wilder will look to make a comeback, and prove his critics wrong by upsetting Tyson Fury in the rematch. Rest assured, whoever wins this one will go next for the unification title bout.
