The highly anticipated six-round exhibition boxing fight between Logan Paul vs Dillon Danis is set to take place on October 14, 2023, and the Maverick gives a big update. In the run-up to the event, the two competitors have engaged in a war of words and mind games, setting the stage for what promises to be an epic boxing match.
In his pre-fight taunts, Dillon Danis has adopted a harsh stance, calling Logan Paul’s fiancée Nina Agdal personal insults. As he shared s*xual content concerning Nina, also breaking the limits that resulted in legal consequences, his tactics have drawn criticism and horrified the boxing community.
In response to Danis’ disparaging remarks, Nina Agdal filed a lawsuit against him. She is requesting $150,000 in damages, and in order to protect herself from further injury, she has also gotten a restraining order. The legal action has raised questions about Danis’ eligibility to take part in the next battle.
On the recent MMA Hour with Airel Helwani when asked if the lawsuit may preclude Dillon from showing up due to the restraining order, Logan responded by saying “No that’s not how lawsuits work, and it’s not a criminal lawsuit, it’s a civil lawsuit”.
Logan continued to say that Dillon was finding different ways to avoid the fight. Logan also stated that this is a civil restraining order, so there won’t be any problem for Dillon to show up on October 14. While he also stated that “75% of what he says is not true, but nothing about that keeps him from showing up,” he finished off by saying Dillon has no other option but to show up to fight.
Logan further added, “he (Dillon) will do anything to not fight me but if he does end up pulling out and he can’t prove an injury then he’ll have to pay me $100,000”. He then went on to say that Dillon Danis will never have a sponsor or a fight organization to support him for future fights if he pulls out of this card.
Will Dillon Show up to the Fight?
With the lawsuit hanging around his neck, fans are curious whether or not Dillon will be able to show up to the fight. In his recent tweet, Dillon stated, “Logan Paul knows that if he loses to me, his career is over. He’s doing everything in his power to prevent this fight from happening and will try to make it seem like it’s my fault. Classic scam artist”.
