Diaz recently got on the boxing scene when he fought Jake Paul on August 5, 2023. The 10-round fight went the distance, however, it was completely dominated by Paul. ‘The Problem Child’ picked up the win via unanimous decision with judges scoring the fight 98-91, 98-91, and 97-92.
Masvidal, on the other hand, last boxed in 2005. He defeated Joseph Benjamin via Majority Decision in his only professional boxing bout.
According to Happy Punch, Diaz and Masvidal have agreed to a boxing bout in March 2024 in Las Vegas. Fans claimed that the former MMA fighters were doing this just for the money. One fan wrote, “No one wants to see this money grab sparring session.”

It is speculated that Diaz vs Masvidal was in the works for a while. Paul’s offer to Masvidal could have faced rejection due to this.
