Logan Paul and Dillon Danis have been at each other’s throats ever since their bout was announced. Danis, whose primary target has been Paul’s fiancee, Nina Agdal, does take a detour from her and highlights other bad investments Paul has made in the past. One such investment was the Liquid Marketplace, co-founded by Paul in 2022.
It was born out of Paul’s love for collectibles. Basically, Liquid Marketplace allows users to own a small share of any collectible they fancy, such as a small share of a rare Pokemon card or an NFT. This was to allow investors with little capital to have a share in the most expensive or rare collectibles. Usually, only high-net-worth individuals get a chance to invest in such assets, but Paul wanted to create an equal playing field and democratize the collectible space.

Unfortunately, this bet never paid off after an initial surge of investment because of Paul’s marketing campaign. This venture followed a similar course to other ventures started by Paul in the past, such as CryptoZoo. Eventually, as the prices and interest lowered, so did Paul’s involvement in Liquid Marketplace. Finally, after a couple of months, Logan Paul completely stopped all activity on the Discord channel set up specifically for Liquid Marketplace.
How did the frequent users of Liquid Marketplace react to the radio silence of Logan Paul?
On witnessing Logan Paul’s lack of activity in terms of promotion and the Discord channel, many users took to social media to convey their frustration. “We are literally like 10 active users tops , allot [sic] of ppl aren’t interested anymore so something needs to be done, not only social media marketing, I mean real logan paul type marketing,” they wrote.
A few users relinquished their interest in Liquid Marketplace and left the platform due to Paul’s inactivity and false claims as to the growth of the Marketplace. According to TIME, many employees of the Marketplace were also made redundant in the middle of 2022. Additionally, no one, including Liquid Marketplace’s CEO, Ryan Bahadori, responded to questions regarding the layoffs.

“Some users within the discord feel as Logan needs to be constantly talking about Liquid MarketPlace,” Bahadori wrote to TIME in an email in January. “However, we view things a little differently, we don’t want everything to be so artificial, we want our advertising to come across organically.”
Liquid Marketplace is one of many failed ventures Logan Paul has spearheaded, and as such, his credibility has taken a hit. Yet, he continues to earn money through his various channels and is likely to make a huge chunk of the PPV for the Dillon Danis fight. Ironically, Danis, who single-handedly promoted the fight, has no PPV points. A pattern many should be familiar with when it comes to Logan Paul.
