KSI is all set to take on Tommy Fury on October 14 in the main event of the MF & DAZN Prime Card. The buildup to the fight has been intense and both fighters seem locked in. With that said, Tommy’s father John Fury has also become a very involved figure ahead of the fight.
Previously, Tommy and John Fury were in attendance for the press conference in London on August 22. On that occasion, things got rather heated on stage and John Fury ended up kicking the tables off. In the scuffle that ensued, John was ready to come to blows as well. Safe to say, the big ‘Gypsy’ man stole the show on the night.

However, that was not his only involvement as he was once again by his son’s side for his latest interview with Adin Ross. Naturally, John was not one to shy away from having a go at KSI himself. Whilst Tommy jibed at ‘JJ’ for looking small, the YouTuber retorted by taking off his t-shirt and showing off his physique. As such, John who was seemingly unimpressed, followed suit, saying “Look at that! Look at the arm on me!”
Soon thereafter, Tommy joined in taking his t-shirt off as well, unveiling his hulking physique. Ahead of the fight, there had been a lot of talk about the weight for the matchup. With Tommy fighting at a higher weight class than KSI, there was a lot of back and forth to finally agree to 183lbs.
John Fury has made a $200k bet with KSI
In the full interview with Adin Ross, there was a lot of trash-talk from both sides. In typical John Fury fashion, he had a good go at the British YouTuber. Apart from his physique, John also trashed KSI’s hairstyle for looking like a pineapple and having his ‘brain between his legs’. At one point, it almost seemed as though the interview was between John and the PRIME Hydration owner.
One of the most entertaining personalities on the scene, Fury stole the show once again. Responding to a question from Adin, John said that he was willing to take on Greg Paul and both his sons, Jake and Logan on the same night. Whilst Tommy would get the occasional jab in, it was mostly John Fury doing the most damage.
Further, John also ridiculed KSI’s trash-talking and made fun of the social media influencer for not acting his age. For the most part, neither Tommy nor his father were too convinced by JJ’s promises to win the fight via knockout in the 4th round. As such, John offered the 30-year-old a bet. “Here’s one for you mate, I will bet you $200,000 off the top of it that he beats the shit out of you. I bet you $200,000.”
Showing his confidence, the YouTuber promptly accepted the bet. Moreover, he even promised to make the jubilant 59-year-old dance with the money after knocking out Tommy. Although it is hardly the last time we’ve seen the two parties clash, it is getting increasingly heated with each meeting. As such, the way things have unfolded, a lot of people will be keen to see how this one ends.
