Canelo Alvarez vs. Jermell Charlo: Canelo to win via decision
Clearly the highlight of the night, Canelo faces one of his biggest challenges when he takes on Jermell Charlo. Although many may argue that Alvarez has failed to impress in his fights against Dmitry Bivol and Gennadiy Golovkin (3), he did put in a champ’s performance against John Ryder earlier this year. Further, Charlo will be moving up for this one, leaving many questions as to how he will adapt to life at a higher weight class.
All things considered, the 33-year-old Mexican is expected to win this one and is the bookies’ favorite as well. However, many notable fighters like Shakur Stevenson and Adrien Broner have given their vote to Charlo. Thus, the undisputed light middleweight world champion has all the tools in his arsenal to pull off a shock upset.
Jesus Ramos Jr. vs. Erickson Lubin: Jesus Ramos Jr. to win via KO/TKO
Up next, we have a light middleweight bout between Jesus Ramos Jr. and Erickson Lubin. As for this one, we have Ramos coming in as a sizeable favorite. The undefeated 22-year-old has shown lightning-fast hand speed and packs a lot of power in his hands. With that said, 27-year-old Erickson Lubin is no slouch either and has challenged for the WBC super welterweight title in the past. Despite being the more experienced fighter, many believe that Lubin will not be able to endure the heat that young Ramos Jr. brings to the ring.

Yordenis Ugas vs. Mario Barrios: Mario Barrios to win via KO/TKO
In one of the more fan-friendly fights of the night, we have Yordenis Ugas taking on Mario Barrios. Notably, both former champs have been up against some big-name opposition in their careers. Whilst Ugas is coming in off a loss to Errol Spence Jr., Barrios took Gervonta Davis to deep waters in the past. Understandably, Barrios has more than a few factors going his way being the younger fighter by 9 years. Additionally, Barrios is also the taller fighter, has more reach, and has a higher knockout rate. Thus, it is likely that the 27-year-old Barrios will lay claim to the vacant WBC interim welterweight title.
Elijah Garcia vs. Armando Resendiz: Elijah Garcia to win via decision
Opening up the main card we have 20-year-old middleweight sensation Elijah Garcia. The heavily touted prospect has collected some big wins including Kevin Salgado Zambrano earlier this year. Facing him, we have the 24-year-old Mexican, Armando Resendiz. Although Resendiz is coming off his biggest career win against Jarrett Hurd in March, he is a huge underdog for this one. For the most part, many believe that Garcia is a stylistic nightmare for Resendiz and is being thrown in to build up the young fighter. Shock upset aside, Garcia should be walking away with the win in this one.
