After weeks of anticipation, Logan Paul vs Dillon Danis is finally over. The match was considered to be a close contest, but that wasn’t what actually happened. The Maverick dominated the entire fight and came out on top during Saturday’s bout.
But just after demolishing his opponent, the pro wrestling star made a major announcement about his next opponent in the Stamford-based promotion. A lot of people might be surprised, but he has called out Rey Mysterio.
When asked about his future plans after defeating El Jefe, Logan shared that, as a WWE star, there are titles that he wants to win. Ultimately, he announced that he has his eyes on Rey’s championship. He said, “I want that US title. Rey Mysterio, I already beat you once brother and I’m coming for that US Championship.”

With the YouTube sensation straight away talking about his plans for a comeback to the Triple H-led promotion, it seems that he’ll be returning soon. Moreover, as WWE’s upcoming Crown Jewel event is in Saudi Arabia, this feud might be starting sooner than expected.
Will Logan be able to get a direct opportunity to challenge the 48-year-old legend, or will he have to earn it by fighting against other competitors? Only time will tell. But it’ll be interesting to see how things unfold upon his WWE return.
Rey Mysterio responds to Logan Paul’s challenge
As soon as Logan Paul called out Rey Mysterio, fans started wondering if that is really going to happen. Moreover, one thing that has worked as fuel to the fire is that the 48-year-old WWE veteran has himself responded to Logan’s challenge.
The Giant Killer wrote, “”Did @loganpaul just call me out? I’m not hard to find homie. Every Friday Night on SmackDown.” The Master of the 619’s response to Logan could be an indication that a feud between these two might be in the works for the YouTuber’s return.
After Rey tagged Paul to tell him that he’s not that hard to find, The Maverick once again came to the party with an interesting reply. Increasing possibility of a program in the near future, the Impaulsive host replied, “See you soon.”

As both performers have already given back-and-forth replies to each other on social media, it seems just a matter of time before WWE puts them in a feud. If that’s the plan, the upcoming Crown Jewel event could be a great platform. But will the Stamford-based promotion pull the trigger to start this exciting rivalry this soon? Only the future knows.
