Over the years, Jake Paul has garnered quite a reputation. The YouTube sensation turned boxer has come a long way from him in his childish VINE and Disney days. Naturally, he has also found his way with women in that time.
During his rise to stardom, Jake has had relationships with numerous high-profile celebrities and influencers. Be it Alissa Violet, Tana Mongeau, Julia Rose, or others, Jake likes to publicly flaunt his partner and shower them with love and affection. Such is also the case for his latest love interest and girlfriend, Jutta Leerdam.
In a previous episode of Logan Paul’s IMPAULSIVE podcast, Jake touched upon his partner. “One of the fastest speed skaters alive. The fastest female speed skater alive,” says Jake. Further, The Problem Child went on to gush even more about his partner and how much he was in love with her. Here, he also highlighted some of Jutta’s traits and qualities.
Prior to his fight against Tommy Fury, Jake had a rather public falling out with his ex-girlfriend, Julia Rose. According to Rose, she did not want to be a hindrance or distraction to Jake, among other things. Moreover, the couple had already been on and off for a few years before their final breakup. However, with Jutta now in the picture, Jake Paul seems to be more confident and focused than ever.
Jutta Leerdam speed skating record
Understandably, Jake is very supportive of his new partner and has heaped a lot of praise on her. However, Jake has made some bold claims about his partner being the “fastest female speed skater alive”. As such, let’s take a look at Jutta Leerdam‘s records and accolades to see if she truly is the fastest female speed skater.
Born on December 30, 1998, in the Netherlands, Jutta was somewhat of a young prodigy in the sport. Over the years, the Dutch skater has secured many accolades and put up some great numbers in international competitions. Most notably, Jutta is a 1500 meters gold medallist and has found success in all-around competitions at the 2017 World Junior Championships.
Further, the 24-year-old won gold medals at the 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023 European Championships. Moreover, Leerdam won two gold medals at the World Sprint Championships in the sprint and team sprint competitions. One of her most important accomplishments was the silver medal in the 1000m race in the 2022 Winter Olympics, held in Beijing, China. Whilst the claim of her being the fastest female speed skater is a debatable one, Jutta does hold the Dutch record for the fastest 1000-meter sprint.
As such, this record at the 2023 Dutch Sprint Championships remains a sea-level world best. Thus, whilst Jake’s statement was not the most accurate, it does hold water in its own right. A serial winner in her domain, it appears that Jake has seemingly found his perfect match. With both athletes aspiring for greatness, they seem to be inspiring each other to succeed as well.
