Floyd Mayweather has cemented his status as one of the all-time greats in the boxing world. He has an undefeated record of 50-0 and is one of the only athletes to retire with an impeccable record. There haven’t been many to come close to Floyd’s impact on the sport, other than Muhammad Ali and Mike Tyson.
Speaking of Iron Mike, he has been on the scene for a long time now and still looks in elite shape. It has been almost two decades since Mike fought but it sure looks like he still has it, although that could sound like an exaggeration considering he’s 56 years old.

In 2014, the former heavyweight champ took a swing at Floyd only to miss by inches. Tyson charged at Floyd but the latter did not even flinch for a single second. That speaks at length about Money‘s mentality and his fearless attitude.
Mike Tyson’s strained relationship with Floyd Mayweather
Mike and Floyd have not had the best of relationships until now. It all started when Tyson’s home was raided in 2003 after a woman claimed that he se*ually assaulted her. Mike claimed that Floyd was the orchestrator of this, and claimed that he was the one who made the woman complain to the police.
Tyson also mentioned that Mayweather was upset that Tyson was seeing her at the time. He told Boxing Junkie, “Some serious people said it. I’m good with it now…You can forgive, but you have to remember.” (via Complex) It sure looks like Tyson did not move on from their beef, judging from the way he charged at Floyd.

The boxing legend also dismissed Floyd’s case for the GOAT conversation. He mentioned that Julio Cesar Chavez’s legendary winning streak had the edge over Floyd’s record. Mike said on his podcast, “You’re great, no doubt about it, but 50-0? Chavez had 90. He was fighting like, what? Eight times a year? Against whoever was in the rankings. He wasn’t picking, it was, ‘Whoever you want, come on.”
It is not every day that Floyd gets overlooked for the ultimate debate, especially by a boxing legend. However, Mike recognized Mayweather’s legacy and the achievements he has racked up. That was not all that Mike has said about Floyd. In 2015, he labeled Floyd as “Delusional” after the latter claimed to be the best boxer of all time, over Tyson’s idol Muhammad Ali.
Although Tyson claims to have forgiven Floyd, it sure looks like he hasn’t forgotten about what Floyd allegedly did. The 46-year-old has not addressed these comments until now, and it looks like it will remain that way.
