Jo Lindner, famously known in the fitness community as Joesthetics, passed away at the young age of 30. Lindner, who admitted to using steroids for his physique, died due to a sudden aneurysm he suffered while he was with his girlfriend, Nicha. In his last post, the German influencer talked about how he started using TRT again after going on a clean streak.
TRT is short for Testosterone Replacement Therapy. Its primary usage is for treating low testosterone levels. However, as stated by HealthLine, its non-medical use is on the rise. It helps in gaining body mass for bodybuilders and also helps in achieving higher energy levels.
Harvard Medical School said in an article, “Men on long-term using forms of testosterone therapy long term appear to have a higher risk of cardiovascular problems, like heart attacks, strokes, and deaths from heart disease.”

In his last post, just a day before his death, Lindner opened up about losing his gains. He lost them because he went off steroids for a whole year. However, he had to go back to using TRT. He urged people to be aware of its effects.
In the caption of his post, he wrote, “Trust me I tried to stop but be aware it might have long-term effects for your life. Trt is a big commitment keep that in mind .”
Further, he explained the difference in his body while referring to the pictures he shared. There was a marked difference with and without TRT.
He concluded his post’s caption with, “Overall this post should show that even as a natural u can look amazing and y just need to get in shape !!”
Lindner also suffered from rippling muscle disease and gynecomastia. He talked openly about the ill effects of TRT and steroids. However, TRT is something that is well-supported by UFC commentator Joe Rogan.
Joe Rogan supports TRT usage and says it exists for a reason
As explained by Hone Health, Joe Rogan admitted to feeling a dip in his energy levels in his late thirties. He turned to TRT and was impressed with the results.
“[TRT] makes a big difference,” he said on The Joe Rogan Experience (JRE) podcast. “It’s real simple. If you’re fine with not feeling good—good! If you’re not fine with it, hormone replacement therapy exists for a reason, and that reason is it makes you feel way better.”
To make it even more clear, Rogan gave out the specific names of the drugs he uses. “The big results come from testosterone replacement. So there’s that. And then there are peptides that increase your body’s ability to grow hormones like growth hormones and igf-1 and all,” he said on The Flagrant 2 podcast.
“There’s bpc-157, ipamorelin, thymosin… what these things do is they help your body produce the hormones that it should have when you’re younger, and your body works better.”
However, along with this, Rogan also explained the importance of regular exercise and diet. He urged everyone to not use these just to look the biggest in the room as that could lead to long-term issues.
