While having the same body measurements as Arnold Schwarzenegger at his peak, Chris Bumstead has often been compared to the legend. For the past four years, Bumstead has been the consecutive winner of the Mr. Olympia title, reigning champion from 2019 to 2022. He is also obsessed with the 7X Mr. Olympia, Arnold’s physique during his prime time.
Chris Bumstead is absolutely loved by his fans because of his politeness and transparency. He also often interacts with his fans on social media platforms. During one such interaction in the form of short Q&A videos, a fan asked, “Would you rather have Tom Platz’s legs or Arnold’s arms?”

Bumstead gave a very interesting reply, saying “Definitely Arnold’s arms. I might be biased ’cause I just have sh*tty arms, to begin with, and I have good legs. But I know I can grow my legs when I train them, and do it, I’ve done it. But my arms have just been b**ch to grow. So I would steal Arnold’s arms for sure“.
Chris Bumstead very well knows that there surely is one department where Arnold Schwarzenegger would obliterate Him on the Mr. Olympia Stage. He also added, “And his chest, if you’re offering”.
However, Bumstead’s reply comes as no surprise to anyone, as Arnold Schwarzenegger is a legend of bodybuilding. His physique at its peak was indeed a fascination for young aspiring bodybuilders, and even in his 70s, he remains as tough as possible.
Arnold Schwarzenegger continues to inspire young bodybuilders
Even after retiring nearly 43 years ago from bodybuilding, Arnold Schwarzenegger still remains an inspiration for young bodybuilders. Despite the competition and its standard changes, Arnold Schwarzenegger is a name that will never be unknown to the new generation of professional bodybuilders.
I LOVE THIS! You can do it! And when you do, what is realistic will grow every month.https://t.co/8ljANrz8Sd https://t.co/Zh9YY1VP9s

The legend earned his very first win in 1964 when he competed in a weightlifting contest. Soon after that, he gained two more wins in powerlifting in 1966 and 1968. As he gained prominence in bodybuilding, nearly a decade later, Arnold fame reached the heights of Hollywood, California where he was offered the James Cameron’s The Terminator franchise, which was later followed by Predator.
The 7X Mr. Olympia winner even ran for office in the State of California in 2003. He became the 38th Governor of the state and served from 2003 to 2011.
To date, Arnold continues to guide and inspire young athletes aspiring to bodybuilding. He also has a YouTube channel where he hopes to guide young athletes with workouts, exercises, and diets to follow.
