With Netflix soon releasing a documentary series on the 7X Mr. Olympia winner and former mayor, Arnold Schwarzenegger is getting himself ready to share those intimate moments of his life. The docuseries will be titled ‘Arnold’ and will serve as an orator of his own story in three parts.
This being said, Schwarzenegger would surely gain more positive publicity through the glitz and glamour of the show, but he would also have to unveil the intimate stories of his failed marriage with his ex-wife, Maria Shriver, and his alleged affairs, which was the biggest scandal of his life.
Speaking of affairs, Arnold Schwarzenegger had the most tempestuous romance with Barbara Outland, before founding fame in Hollywood. He met her in 1968 and fell completely in love with her. The two shared a happy and simple life, living on a beach. However, their story didn’t last long because of Schwarzenegger’s career choices. They wanted different things in life as when Arnold wanted to become something big, Barbara wanted to get married and have children.

As things didn’t work out, they broke up in 1975 and the actor wrote in his memoir, “Basically, it came down to this: she was a well-balanced woman who wanted an ordinary, solid life and I was not a well-balanced man and hated the very idea of ordinary life.”
Soon after that, Arnold started gaining recognition for his work and became the most prominent action star in Hollywood. Today, he has established an empire worth 450 million dollars.

Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Hollywood journey started in 1968 when he moved to the United States. He was addressed as Arnold ‘Strong’ at that time. His incredible physique as a bodybuilder caught the eye of the film industry and he was offered his first role in 1969 with Hercules in New York.

He became friends with Andy Warhol who later introduced Arnold to many Hollywood players like Woody Allen and James Caan. In 1977, Arnold won Best Acting Debut in a Motion Picture at the Golden Globe, for his movie ‘Pumping Iron.’
In 1982, Arnold got the biggest break of his career and did “Canon the Barbarian.” Later in 1984, he starred in the iconic film series, “Terminator.” The 80s were an amazing decade for Arnold. He was also cast in other films like Red Sonja and Commando in 1985, Red Heat and Twins, in 1988 and The Running Man and Predator in 1987.
