The Former WWE Champion is currently out of action after suffering a painful injury during an episode of SmackDown. While he has been very athletic inside the ring, Big E was not prepared to have such a threatening injury on live TV. He injured his neck and was immediately escorted out of the arena. The injury seemed to be career-threatening, but according to recent reports, he might return soon.
When will Big E make his return from his Devastating Injury?
WWE athletes often face a lot of unexpected moments, which further lead to career-ending injuries. This was seemingly the case with Big E, who suffered a shocking injury during his match last year. During a match against the Brawling Brutes on SmackDown, Ridge Holland attempted to hit Big E with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex, which didn’t land well for the New Day member.
It’s way too early to speculate on what the long-term effects of Big E’s injury are.
I’ve seen what the ex WWE physician said; it’s sobering as a fan of Big E.
Right now, we should be grateful that it wasn’t a lot worse and be supportive of him during his road to recovery. pic.twitter.com/7SY17WFpFY

He was taken out on a stretcher during the match and stormed out of the arena. Later, it was revealed that he had fractured his C1 and C6 vertebrae. It seemed to be a career-ending injury, as doctors stated that he might not wrestle for a long time now. The Power of Positivity seemingly took over due to well-applied efforts by the medics and constant gratitude from his fans; he might make a comeback soon.
It has been a tough time for the former Intercontinental Champion; during various interviews, Big E talked about the challenges he faced during his injury. It was a tough phase for him initially, as he was unable to go out on dates and functions.
Previously while appearing on the Battleground podcast, the former Intercontinental Champion stated that he feels great and looks to move in the right direction.
