Tyson Fury is set to return to the boxing ring against Dillian Whyte in just a matter of hours. Both WBC and The Ring Magazine Heavyweight titles will be on the line for the fight. Fury holds both belts while Whyte is the interim WBC champion.
‘The Gypsy King,’ Tyson Fury is arguably one the biggest active names in boxing alongside Canelo Alvarez. He is certainly the best heavyweight boxer in the sport at the moment. This is a claim which is backed up by his stats. He already has notable wins over the likes of Wladimir Klitschko and Deontay Wilder.
Fury is already on his way to becoming one of the all-time great boxers regardless of weight. If he beats Dillian Whyte on April 23, Tyson will have the opportunity to challenge the winner of Oleksandr Usyk vs Anthony Joshua 2. The winner of that fight will hold WBA, WBO, IBA and IBF belts. Hence, an epic clash awaits where Tyson Fury may just be an undisputed champion across all governing bodies, the first in the modern era.

But the 33-year old also expressed previously that the fight against Dillian Whyte will be his last. Although that may not be the case going forward, the possibility of him hanging up the gloves still remains. But, the fans will not have to wait for too long to find the answer.
Who is Tyson Fury’s father John Fury?
Tyson Fury has always had the backing of his father John Fury. The fans have seen Big John standing by his son throughout the course of his career. However, he has also been critical of Tyson whenever he saw fit.
John is a proud father of 4 sons with Tyson being the oldest one. The 57-year old currently serves as a mouthpiece to his champion son. Over the years, he has gotten into many arguments with experts while defending his son on national television. He famously bet £1,000,000 on Tyson Fury remaining unbeaten throughout the rest of his career.
Born in Tuam, Galway, Ireland, John was a heavyweight boxer himself. Although he was not as accomplished as his son, John was a pretty handy fighter according to his own admission. He had a record of 8 wins, 4 losses and 1 draw in his 13 fight career. John came close to a championship once as he fought against Neil Malpass for the Central Area Heavyweight Title.
Despite being retired for a number of years now, John Fury still actively works out. Tyson Fury recently even tried to bring Big John out of retirement. He wanted his father to fight on the undercard of the upcoming bout between him and Dillian Whyte. In a recent interview, Tyson said,
“I’m trying to get John on the undercard, to be honest. We’re still working on that. Frank is working very hard behind the scenes, it’s not been announced but I’m just going to give you a little sneaky preview. Big John, trying to get him on the undercard. So yeah, don’t be surprised.” (h/t EssentiallySports)

But Tommy is the most famous amongst the rest of the brothers. The 22-year old first rose to fame after being a part of a TV reality show. Similar to his older brother Tyson, Tommy is also unbeaten in his career. He has always been a feature of Tyson’s fight camps.

Tommy will be in action alongside his brother this weekend as he is a featured fight in the undercard of the event. The youngest Fury brother will fight Daniel Bocianski. He was previously set to face celebrity boxer Jake Paul in December of last year. But he had to pull out due to an injury. There is a prospect that they may reignite their rivalry if Tommy emerges victorious this Saturday.
