Wardlow deserves everything that is coming his way, and then some. AEW’s Wardog has been its most-protected commodity since he debuted in November 2019. He was a part of the first Steel Cage Match and the first Blood & Guts Match in the promotion’s history. At AEW Revolution 2022, Wardlow grabbed the literal brass ring and became the Face of the Revolution; and this week on AEW Dynamite, he cemented his face-turn with a brilliant in-ring promo.

Wardlow splitting from The Pinnacle was inevitable
Ever since he debuted, Mr. Mayhem has been treated as a legitimate threat to everyone who stands in his path. The man managed to hurl around 6 foot 6 Jake Hager like he was a ragdoll in an MMA Cage Rules match, for Christ’s sake.
The Wardog has been relatively quiet about his status of employment, however, choosing not to engage his boss MJF whenever shown disrespect because according to Long Island’s Finest, Wardlow is contracted by him, not AEW. Over the past 3 years, MJF has belittled Wardlow on multiple occasions. But he’s finally done with Little Max’s mind games; especially after getting slapped for no reason on the Revolution go-home episode of AEW Dynamite.
Things are becoming undone as @realwardlow receives a STRONG slap by way of @The_MJF ahead of #AEWRevolution LIVE this SUNDAY on PPV!

Wardlow delivered his first address as a babyface on last night’s Dynamite
Mr. Mayhem made the entire wrestling world go wild with anticipation when he helped CM Punk win his brutal Dog Collar Match with MJF. Everyone was waiting on the Face of the Revolution to cement his newfound babyface status, and he did just that on AEW Dynamite this week.

Standing in the ring with Tony Schiavone, Wardlow commented his rough upbringing as a poor kid and the fact that a job working for MJF was an opportunity to put food on his family’s table. After getting the crowd in the palm of his hands with his raw emotion, Wardlow sounded off on the Salt of the Earth for confusing a working relationship for a master-servant dynamic.

Wardlow proclaimed that he is finally free, and broke off from his Pinnacle brethren to pursue his destiny of becoming the new TNT Champion; going from the Face of the Revolution, to the Face of All Elite Wrestling itself. Now, he’s set to face the new TNT Champion Scorpio Sky at next week’s Dynamite Special St. Patrick’s Day Slam; and something tells us the Man of the Year should be very scared.
