"The Scale Did Not Move" - Charles Oliveira Vents His Frustration During Backstage lnterview

Charles Oliveira and Justin Gaethje came face to face with each other ahead of UFC 274.

But unfortunately Charles Oliveira was stripped of the lightweight championship after he didn't hit the weight limit.

Oliveira weighed in 155.5lbs ahead of the PPV fight, in the ceremonial weigh-in, exceeding the mark by 0.5lbs to be eligible to compete for the title, according to the new UFC 274 rules.

Oliveira weighed 156lbs in the first attempt and was given an hour to fit into the weight category, but he missed the mark again by 0.5lbs.

DoBronx vented out his frustration backstage- "I've done everything because Iam the champion and its my responsibility to hit the weight. Even though I hit it before, I've done everything, sacrifice myself, but the scale did not move."

But the drama didn't demotivate the former lightweight champion as he proclaimed he will come back "10 times better"

"The champion's name is Charles Oliveira, no other."

UFC 274 is still on with Oliveira and Gaethje competing for the vacant championship.

Only Justin Gaethje is eligible to win the championship, while Oliveira leaves the octagon with nothing, irrespective of the fight outcome.
