Brock Lesnar Says Roman Reigns Feud Brought Him "Out of Retirement"

Brock Lesnar has been on top of the world since returning to WWE at SummerSlam 2021.

The Beast Incarnate looks like a man re-born in his latest run.

The WWE Universe has been lapping up everything that Cowboy Brock does; and rightly so.

He is set to blow off his 7-year-long feud with Roman Reigns at Night 2 of WrestleMania 38; and he has revealed was this main event that brought him back in the first place.

The last time we saw Brock Lesnar before SummerSlam 2021 was WrestleMania 36, which he main evented alongside Drew McIntyre.

After dropping the WWE Championship to McIntyre, Lesnar vanished from our screens; and to hear him tell it, he planned to keep it that way.

In an interview with New York Post, Brock revealed that he was "retired in his mind" after that match.

“The pandemic hits, and my contract was up, and so in my mind, I was retired and just settling into it,” Lesnar explained.

“I grew my beard out, grew my hair out. This wasn’t some master plan. I just kind of went off the map and was OK with it", said The Beast about his absence from WWE.

Brock then revealed that he returned to WWE because of the current storyline he's involved in, which is the biggest story going into WrestleMania 38.

"I have a passion for it, this storyline for sure", said The Beast about his feud with Roman Reigns in a rare moment of admission.

Of course, being Brock Lesnar, he is also being compensated "very nicely" for his contribution to the Biggest Main Event in WrestleMania History.
