Well, nobody knows what that fight would’ve looked like if it had to progress further. Muhammad came into that fight on three weeks’ notice, which is a challenge for many fighters as they require time to cut weight and train for the opponent. For Belal, this is a serious grudge match especially since he’s waited for many years to finally get a title shot. Muhammad could be severely underestimated despite his boring fight style, however, Edwards is as dominant as one can be.
Fans are starting to get nervous about Leon Edwards vs Belal Muhammad 2

Fans are starting to feel the intensity rise between both individuals as one individual said, “Now I’m nervous.” Another fan chimed in and said, “Belal just embarrassed this bum.” The Palestinian native also had fans reminiscing about when NBA legend Kobe Bryant stood absolutely unfazed when Matt Barnes pump-faked the ball toward his face.
Leon Edwards claims Belal Muhammad hasn’t changed a bit since their first fight
The trash talk between both individuals has been incredible but both fighters are landmines waiting to detonate. Earlier this week, Belal ran into Edwards and his crew in the athlete hotel’s elevator. Muhammad claimed Edwards seemed extremely scared while the latter said it was the No.2 ranked welterweight who stood in the corner awkwardly without saying a word until the doors opened.
Edwards also believes Belal hasn’t improved since their first fight. During an interview with Daniel Cormier, he said, You watch me and [Muhammad] and just skill for skill and just he still makes the same mistakes that he made before even though he has improved, his patterns is similar, same patterns.”
He added, “I don’t feel like he can get anymore faster than what he is already. I can’t see his feet getting any more quicker than what he is already. He won’t get any stronger than what he is already. He’s still short, his range is still limited.” It will eventually unfold in the octagon on Saturday night as Edwards stands as the obvious and overwhelming favorite to win this fight.
