SUMMARY
- Sinsamut Klinmee will fight Dmitry Menshikov at ONE Fight Night 22.
- Ahead of the contest on May 3, Klinmee has a message for his opponent.
Sinsamut Klinmee returns to action this weekend against Dmitry Menshikov at ONE Fight Night 22 inside the legendary Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. The former two-time title challenger will step inside the ring in the back of a unanimous decision victory over Mouchine Chafi, and could likely find himself in the title picture once again should he get past the Russian stalwart.
Speaking to Sportsmanor in an exclusive interview, the former two-time title challenger talked in length about his upcoming opponent Dmitry Menshikov.
The 26-year-old kickboxing phenom has looked unstoppable ever since making his ONE Championship debut. Since losing to Regian Eersel in his first fight, Menshikov has gone on to finish each of his next two opponent via KO in the first round.

Interestingly enough, both the fighters have lost to Regian Eersel, and while that serves as no parameter for Sinsamut Klinmee heading into this bout, he does believe the KO loss could mean that it could be a much more calculative fight than fans expect. Regardless, he doesn’t see this going the full three rounds.
“He’s a very good fighter. I am very excited to face him in the upcoming week. And I think it’s really challenging for me.”
“I have always liked to fight someone who are good fighters,” he further continued. Klinmee expects another slugfest, and much like his previous fights, he plans on leaving it all inside the ring.
Sinsamut Klinmee doesn’t plan on being very active this year
What comes next for Sinsamut Klinmee if he gets past Dmitry Menshikov? The ONE Championship contender believes a title shot might be in the picture. However, he doesn’t plan on competing as much as he has in the last two years.
The Thai fighter competed thrice in his first year with ONE Championship back in 2021 and stepped inside the ring three times again last year.

Competing in his first fight this year, Klinmee admits he wants to spend more time with his family. Moreover, with the birth of his first child, the obvious focus is going to be taking care of his wife and kids.
As for his final thoughts on the opponent, “I just want to tell him, do his best and I will do my best too. Make the game fun, make the game excited, don’t make the fans disappointed.”
