The youngster of the University of Georgia, Trevor Etienne, was arrested on March 24, 2024. Etienne was alleged to have four various charges. The running back is a former star at Jennings High School.
At the high school level, the running back registered 2,455 rushes and 34 touchdowns. As a senior, he recorded 1,344 rushing yards along with 20 touchdowns. During his high school days, Trevor Etienne secured his place in the All-American Bowl Roster. For the past two seasons with the University of Florida, Etienne managed 249 rushing attempts and covered 1,472 rushing yards.
The 19-year-old had offers from Clemson and LSU before joining the University of Florida. After spending two seasons with the university, he joined the University of Georgia this year. The running back is about to start his journey with the Georgia Bulldogs, but his arrest on Sunday morning may have delayed his debut.
Why was Trevor Etienne arrested?
The 19-year-old running back was arrested after being accused of DUI, reckless driving, failure to maintain lane, and affixing materials, as per reports. The affixing materials indicate the reduction in visibility of windows, and DUI charges mean Etienne declined to provide blood or urine tests. This is not the first time any student from the university has been arrested for driving issues, but Etienne is the first case this year.
