Moreover, Rashford also left Belfast just hours before he was supposed to join United’s training session and eventually failed to reach the club premises on time. However, he was spotted arriving at the club earlier this morning along with his brother and agent Dwaine Maynard. The incident has once again fueled the rumors of Rashford’s move away from the club this summer.

Earlier last year, Rashford admitted that he was seeking an exit from Manchester United. However, after Erik ten Hag’s arrival, he later changed his mind. While Rashford’s appearance today with his brother might be related to him missing the training session, the rumors about his exit continue to persist. As reported by Fabrizio Romano, there are several clubs like PSG who are interested in buying the United star in the summer transfer window.
Erik ten Hag vows to deal with Marcus Rashford
Meanwhile, Erik ten Hag has responded to Marcus Rashford’s controversy following the latter’s absence from the club’s training session. Ten Hag has had it tough putting out fires at the club since his arrival in 2022. Starting with Cristiano Ronaldo’s exit, to Mason Greenwood’s future at the club, and Jadon Sancho’s saga, Ten Hag has to now deal with Rashford.
After the news about Marcus Rashford partying and clubbing in Belfast emerged, Ten Hag has responded to the incident. He said, “It is an internal matter. As I said, we will deal with it. I will deal with it.” Nevertheless, Ten Hag wouldn’t be very happy with Rashford’s disciplinary issues. Rashford was dropped earlier this season by the United head coach against Newcastle United in the EFL Cup due to disciplinary issues.
English legend blasts Marcus Rashford’s attitude after he missed FA Cup tie
In the meantime, English soccer legend Alan Shearer has also slammed Marcus Rashford after he missed a training session by clubbing Belfast. Shearer laid into the 26-year-old English international for wasting his talent. He responded to Erik ten Hag’s statements regarding the incident and said, “If it’s an internal matter, you’d think something is up.”
🚨🚨🎙️| Alan Shearer on Marcus Rashford:
“He can’t keep doing this, he can’t keep wasting his talent because it’s not right. He needs strong management, someone to get hold of him and tell him there’ll be huge regrets come the end of this career if he continues doing this.” pic.twitter.com/keo1XgWCPi

Shearer also pointed out how there has been a change in the discipline and attitude of Rashford from last season. The former Newcastle United star said that Rashford, who’s a hugely talented player, shouldn’t keep wasting his gift. Lastly, Shearer also questioned whether Rashford is having some problems, either at the club or at his home, that are adversely affecting the player’s attitude and leading to such disciplinary issues.
PSG is reportedly looking to sign Marcus Rashford if Kylian Mbappe leaves the club
Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has recently opened up about Marcus Rashford’s future at Manchester United. In an interview with The United Stand, Romano talked about whether Rashford is deliberating an exit from the club. Romano admitted that several clubs are keeping tabs on the United forward. He said, “I am sure that many clubs will be interested. There are people at PSG who really appreciate the player.”
Romano further disclosed that the former PSG manager and current Chelsea head coach Mauricio Pocchetino was especially interested in signing Rashford. However, the Italian journalist did clarify that currently, there are no concrete interests from any club in the United Star. Lastly, Fabrizio Romano also said that while a move can take place in the summer transfer window, Rashford wouldn’t be leaving the club in the January transfer window.
