The latest talk of the town, Palworld, is making sure to stay in the news for one reason or another. This time around there’s good news for players who were eagerly hoping that the game would include features like player vs player (PvP) and raids.
The newest multiplayer monster-collecting survival game, Palworld, has become 2024’s first biggest blockbuster within less than a week of launch. And with that, the developers have shared the roadmap of what the players can expect next from the game.
Palworld to get PvP and raids
The developers recently announced that Palworld is all set to get player-vs-player (PvP) fights, raid bosses, a PvP arena mode, as well as Steam / Xbox crossplay support.
Pocket Pair shared a post on X (formerly Twitter) revealing the planned future updates. However, they did not mention any time frame when the new updates will arrive. It must be noted that Palworld is still in early access on the given platforms. Meanwhile, players have reported “numerous bugs” and Palworld is working on fixing them.

Recently, the devs had acknowledged that they were aware of the issues players were facing particularly on Xbox and PC. They also revealed an update a day ago. Pocket Pair says that before the devs start working on future updates, they will first focus on addressing the early critical issues.
“Sales have far exceeded the development team’s expectations, and we are currently experiencing many problems due to excessive access congestion, among other challenges,” says Pocket Pair. They further added they would first prioritize resolving the bugs, and then move on to implementing new in-game features.
Palworld future roadmap
According to the developers, Palworld is also getting “various Xbox feature improvements,” along with server transfers and migrations, revisions to the game’s building system, as well as the addition of new islands, pals, bosses, and technologies.
The developers shared a complete roadmap titled, ‘[The Future of Palworld]’ of what they plan next. “We would like to share with you our roadmap for Palworld,” the post read. It further listed the updates as follows:
