SUMMARY
- Microsoft always comes up with interesting designs for their devices.
- The latest device from Microsoft is a toaster that looks like an Xbox Series S, aptly named 'Xbox Series S toaster'.
Ever since Microsoft launched its next-gen consoles, Xbox Series S and Xobox Series X on November 10, 2020, it has attracted a lot of attention and been the subject of multiple memes. This is mainly because of its unconventional design choices.
Nonetheless, apart from being a source of meme-material, the consoles have also been a source of inspiration for something that’s hard to imagine, kitchen appliances. Sometime back the Xbox Series X Mini Fridge was launched and now the Xbox design has gone a step further to heat things up or rather toast them. (quite literally)
Xbox Series S toaster
The Xbox fans and loyalist now have an Xbox Series S toaster which they can add to their kitchen. And that’s not all, they can enjoy their morning breakfast with an Xbox toast. The toaster actually imprints the Xbox logo on the bread.
The images of an Xbox Series S toaster first appeared close to a year ago on French websites, where it was being sold. However, now Walmart has started officially selling the toaster for a price tag of $39.99. The toaster is designed to look like an Xbox Series S machine, featuring its signature black air vent.

Apart from the look, it also has the features of an actual toaster for toasting bread. It comes with six levels of browning, a removable crumb tray, an LED countdown, and a defrost button. Besides some reports suggest it can toast two breads at a time.
Interestingly, it supports all types of breads and beagles. It has auto ejection after toasting is done (like most toasters), three different functions, auto centered guide, and more. However, the biggest feature that takes away the spotlight is its ability to imprint the Xbox logo onto the bread.
Fans had hilarious reactions to the new product. A user named James wrote, “Xbox is so toast, isn’t it?” accompanied by an image from IGN about PS5 outselling Xbox Series X and S 3:1. Another user ‘Hatch3tman2007P’ wrote, “Kinda fire not gonna lie”
Xbox has seen a variety of unusual crossovers and products, such as the recent Series X crossover with Bluey, and the Simpsons Xbox 360 in the past. However, Xbox making its way into the kitchen is just unlocking new avenues.
Xbox Series S toaster price
The toaster is currently being sold at Walmart through its physical stores as well as through its official website. The product listed as ‘Xbox Series S Toaster 2 Slice Toaster with Wide Slot, Bagel Function, Digitial Countdown Timer, with 6 Shade Settings’ on the website is priced at $39.99.

It must be noted that the Xbox Series S toaster is being by Walmart, however, the availability of shipping, store pickup, and delivery depends upon the region. So far, the toaster does not appear to be sold anywhere else, including Microsoft’s own store.
Ironically, this is not the first toaster dedicated to gaming. Bungie. a couple of years ago had released a Destiny-themed toaster, which had a function to imprint Destiny’s Tricorn logo into your bread. Razer had also claimed that it would make its April Fool’s Day joke toaster a reality, however, it never saw the light of the day.
