Haley Cavinder and Caitlin Clark are arguably among the renowned college athletes. Both of them have their unique set of skills that help them to deliver remarkable performances. It doesn’t come as a surprise that Cavinder and Clark greatly benefited when NIL rights were granted to college-level athletes. Interestingly, the former Miami guard’s NIL earnings are so impressive that they even put Clark to shame.
Notably, Cavinder started her basketball college career in 2019 when she joined Fresno State University. After this, she joined the University of Miami for one season and left an undeniable impact. She and her twin Hannah Cavinder are famously known as ‘Cavinder-twins‘ and have been hooping together since they were kids. The popularity has led Haley to sign impressive deals because of which her NIL valuation stands at $863K.
On the other hand, Clark embarked on her career a year later than Cavinder. She joined The University of Iowa in 2020 and has been with the team ever since. Clark has undeniably taken the Iowa Hawkeyes to greater heights and created a legacy. She is also considered a prospect No.1 pick if she declares for the WNBA draft. Clark is earning a staggering $794K from her NIL deals.
Furthermore, Cavinder’s NIL earnings of $863K have put Clark’s NIL earnings of $794K to shame. While the difference between the two might not be huge, it has left everyone surprised. One of the main reasons is that Clark was the first among the two to gain popularity. Thereby, making her more likely to sign more NIL deals than Cavinder.
Haley Cavinder will be playing for Texas Christian University in the coming season
Back in April, the Cavinder twins announced that they would not be going for the fifth year of eligibility and would be retiring instead. This news stormed the internet and left their fans sad that they won’t see their favorite duo on the court. However, just a couple of months later, Haley decided to enter the transfer portal as she found it difficult to forgo her love for basketball.
She admitted that she wanted to continue playing basketball, however, she was afraid to play without her twin-sister Hannah. Furthermore, on their podcast ‘Twin Talk’, the two gave other twins a message that it’s okay to do different things. Haley said, “All my twins out there, it’s OK to have certain passions. You can have your own life, you can love your own things, I can love my own things, and we’re fine.”

Furthermore, through an Instagram post, Haley announced that she is committing to Texas Christian University for her fifth and final year of collegiate eligibility. She posted a picture of herself with a TCU jersey and captioned it as “the last rodeo #committed.” Fans were thrilled to know about this and now are awaiting to see her on the court again. This will likely increase her NIL earnings and put other star’s earnings to shame.
