SUMMARY
- Fallout 4 keeps on growing even after the developers have stopped giving it updates, thanks to the modding community.
- Fallout: London is a total conversion mod for Fallout 4 that seeks to establish its own world using Fallout 4 as a base.
The action role-playing game Fallout 4 was created in 2015 by Bethesda Game Studios and released by Bethesda Softworks. November 10, 2015, saw the global release of Fallout 4, the fourth main game in the Fallout game series, for PlayStation, Windows, and Xbox. A post-apocalyptic open world that includes Boston and the neighboring region known as “The Commonwealth” serves as the setting for the game.
Fallout 4 is now coming out with a new ambitious DLC-sized mod called Fallout: London. This DLC will deliver a completely different experience from the others in the series in that it is the first Fallout game to be set outside of the United States.

Fallout: London is set, appropriately enough, in London. Fallout: London captures the history and aesthetics of London and puts an undeniably nuclear spin on the beloved city. This includes stuffy legislative aristocrats, a resurrection of the Knights of the Round Table to an uncompromising cult of revolutionaries.
Fallout: London gets a release date
Fallout: London was first revealed in 2021 by Team FOLON, a non-profit organization made up of professional and amateur developers from all around the world.
As of right now, Team FOLON has declared that Fallout: London will launch on April 23, 2024, St. George’s Day. The Fallout 4 mod’s creators also released a debut trailer that features numerous iconic London locations, like Big Ben and Buckingham Palace, in their post-apocalyptic iterations.

According to the devs, the mod is currently “content-complete,” but the release date was postponed to give more time for testing. The fact that a large portion of Team FOLON hails from conflict-affected nations had an impact on Fallout: London’s development.
Fallout: London’s release coincides exactly with the Fallout TV series on Amazon Studios. Two weeks before the mod, on April 12, 2024, the series will be released. Even though Amazon’s series will take place in the United States and in the year 2296, it will probably spark some interest in the mod because it might encourage long-time gamers to revisit Fallout 4 or attract new players.
The developers of Fallout: London claim that the game will have several hours of gameplay and be DLC-sized. Its primary plot will probably not be as lengthy as Bethesda’s game, but it will still include a sizable geography equivalent to that in Fallout 4 expansions. In contrast, it takes about thirty minutes to stroll through the Far Harbor DLC for Fallout 4, so players can anticipate a large, intricately detailed city.
