Mike McDaniel is one of the youngest coaches in the NFL; he is just 40 years old. McDaniel was born on March 6, 1983, in Aurora, Colorado. He has been the head coach of the NFL side Miami Dolphins since 2022.
The 40-year-old graduated in 2001 from Smoky Hill High School. He used to play football at Yale as a wide receiver. In 2022, McDaniel signed a contract with Dolphins for 4-years.
During his four years with the franchise, he will earn nearly $3.5 million every year. His actual annual salary with the Dolphins has yet to be discovered. After taking over the managerial role of the Dolphins, he completely changed the team spirit, and they are performing well in the current season.
Despite being the manager of one of the successful franchises in the league this season, he is not among the list of highest-paid coaches. Currently, McDaniel’s team is sitting at the top spot of the AFC East table. If they can keep their outstanding performance, they will surely win the Super Bowl trophy for the first time since 1973.
McDaniel can be their new Don Shula, who led the franchise to win the Super back-to-back two times in 1972 and 1973. The Dolphins’ spectators are eagerly waiting to see their team win the Super Bowl for the third time in their history.
