Caitlin Clark is a player everybody is eagerly waiting to see achieve new heights. The world of basketball has seen a bunch of undeniable talents, however, the University of Iowa standout is much different. Over the last year and a half, Clark has become a game-changing athlete despite being 21 years of age. She is someone fans strongly believe will become the face of women’s basketball in the future.
During the 2022-23 NCAA season, the Iowa Hawkeyes of the Big Ten Conference made a massive emergence. Caitlin was responsible for it as her leadership and abilities pushed the Hawkeyes ahead. Clark continues to dominate as she recently recorded the most 30-point games in Division I basketball history, surpassing WNBA star Kelsey Plum. But Clark’s sports IQ isn’t limited to basketball alone. She has been an avid follower of the NFL as well.
Caitlin Clark earned her spot on Peyton Manning’s prediction board
Recently, Caitlin Clark made an appearance on “Monday Night Football” hosted by NFL legends Peyton and Eli Manning. The show was telecasted during the Kansas City Chiefs vs. Philadelphia Eagles game. Clark became the first ever college athlete to make an appearance on the show, which is history in its own right. The point guard ended up showing off her football IQ when she successfully predicted a touchdown play by the Chiefs.
Caitlin predicted that the Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes would connect a pass to Travis Kelce for the touchdown. Surprisingly, after her prediction was made, the Chiefs maneuvered the exact play predicted by the basketball star near the end of the first half. Peyton and Eli were seemingly impressed by Clark’s prediction.

Following the play, Clark commented on X urging Manning to add her face to the board. She said, “PUT ME ON THE PERFECT PREDICTION BOARD!!!!!!” The Manning Brothers were more than happy to give her the respect she deserved. The board features the faces of guests who accurately predict plays.
Caitlin Clark grew to love watching the Chiefs perform when she was a child
While Caitlin Clark had a chat with the Manning Brothers, she seemingly had a lot more interest in the game rather than what they were discussing. It was obvious that Clark had a liking for the sport. She revealed that she had been a fan of the Chiefs since she was a kid.
She told Peyton, “I’ve been a Chiefs fan since I was a young girl. My brother was a Chiefs fan, my dad was a Chiefs fan, I had cousins in Kansas City who were Chiefs fans,” when he asked her why she supported the Chiefs.
Clark certainly has a long way to go and most definitely will make history in the future. Right now, she averages 31 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 8 assists per game for the Hawkeyes. Iowa is making a strong emergence in the Big Ten Conference under her leadership. They are currently ranked third behind MI State and Penn State.
