Chael Sonnen slammed Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson for denying steroid use. In a YouTube video, Sonnen compared Johnson to fitness influencer Brian Johnson, aka ‘Liver King’. Brian is infamous for telling the world that his physique was natural for years but later came out about his steroid consumption. He cheated his fans by lying to them for years.
Sonnen referred to the time Joe Rogan accused The Rock of denying steroid usage. The UFC veteran claimed, “What Joe is saying The Rock did, which is steroids, is something The Rock has denied.”
Sonnen further explained that The Rock’s father and grandfather also denied these accusations. However, he also claimed that it would not have been a big deal “if you [The Rock] weren’t out there telling people about nutrition and telling people about your diet telling people about your workouts.
As soon as you start doing that and trying to influence and motivate and bring people along the journey but you lie to them about the journey, right? I mean, he’s liver King you’re liver King all over again. It’s the exact same thing.”
Dwayne Johnson is known for his extraordinary physique. He has maintained it throughout his life with exceptional diets and exercises. It is reported that he accepted consuming steroids at an early age with his friends, however, he has not used steroids ever after that.
Joe Rogan accused Dwayne Johnson of consuming steroids but refrained from mentioning it on his podcast
In an episode of the ‘Joe Rogan Experience’ (JRE), Rogan slammed Johnson for denying steroid consumption. “There’s no way you can look like that, in your 40s,” chided Rogan, according to New York Post. “The Rock should come clean right now.
“He should make a video in response to the Liver King video. ‘I need to talk to you because the Rock’s been lying.’ There’s not a f–king chance in hell he’s clean,” slammed the JRE host. “Not a chance in hell. As big as the Rock is, at 50? He’s so massive, and he’s so different than he was when he was 30.”
Further, Rogan explained that Johnson had a responsibility toward the people and he should tell them the truth. On the other hand, Rogan has himself admitted to using various supplements in his daily life.
However, when Rogan invited The Rock for JRE #2063, the UFC color commentator made no comments about his accusations. The pair discussed various topics from their humble beginnings to combat sports, however, Rogan refrained from mentioning the hot topic in the three-hour-long podcast.
