According to the reports, a fake account resembling the player on the social networking site Twitter (X) penned an apology message regarding the red card incident. Reports, further stated that American YouTuber and streamer IShowSpeed accidentally took the penned message as to be posted by Rashford himself.

IShowSpeed reportedly wrote below the fake account’s apology post by commenting – “it’s cool bro just lock in please man”. It can be inferred that the 18-year-old social media sensation didn’t realize that the written post was just from a fan account and not from the United player.
However, fans around the world have reacted to this incident by expressing their opinions. A fan reacted by stating – “Bro think that’s real Rashford”. Another follower commented – “You fell for a fake account”. One of the fans inflicted – “Who’s gonna tell him?”
