New developments about Manchester United‘s treatment of Jadon Sancho have made fans furious. The English soccer star has been banished from United’s canteen and is forced to eat out of a lunchbox across the walkway that links the academy and senior facilities. This is just one of the many differential treatments received by Sancho from his other United teammates.
More details of Jadon Sancho’s Man United exile have been revealed, from training facilities to even using the first-team canteen 👀😳

Sancho last featured in a match for United on August 26, 2023, in their 3-2 victory over Nottingham Forest. He played for 30 minutes after coming off the bench in that contest. In the following fixture, United’s 3-1 defeat to Arsenal, Sancho was left out.
About Sancho’s omission, Erik ten Hag said, “On his performance in training, we didn’t select him. You have to reach the level every day at Manchester United.”
Sancho, however, snapped back at his coach. On social media, the 23-year-old claimed that the accusations were “completely untrue”.
Since then, reports suggest that Ten Hag has asked Sancho to apologize for his actions. An apology could help him get back into the main squad. However, it is believed that Sancho has refused to apologize and accepted being exiled from the main team facilities.
Fans have expressed their disgust at the treatment received by Sancho. One fan wrote. “This is horrible treatment.”

Another fan expressed how “disgraceful” this treatment is. They wrote, “This is disgraceful, what he did does not deserve this level of punishment. “
Meanwhile, another fan called it “petty”. They wrote, “This is petty why not allow to eat with his mates.”
According to The Athletic, Sancho is not allowed to use any of the first-team facilities. He trains separately from the first team and even has to park his car at the academy building. He is touted to leave in January.

Reports suggest that many clubs are monitoring Sancho’s situation at United. Although he has had a tough life in Manchester, it should not be forgotten that he is still young and has shown great potential.
He played 137 matches for Borussia Dortmund and scored 50 goals for the club. He even assisted an extraordinary 64 times during his time in Germany. At Manchester United, he has made 82 appearances, scoring 12 goals and assisting six.

Saudi Arabian clubs, especially, are monitoring Sancho’s situation. Chelsea and Juventus have also reportedly shown interest. The Athletic states that United might be open to hearing offers but they are looking at a transfer fee of over $75 million. United paid almost $90 million for the services of Sancho in 2021. They hope to recover something close to the amount from his sale.
