NFL star Travis Kelce has been great ever since his debut in the league. However, the tight end has recently been in the news for his love life. Ever since he began dating pop sensation Taylor Swift, Kelce has been the center of attraction. Along with that, the 34-year-old has been making headlines for his rivalry with star QB Aaron Rodgers.
The New York Jets star recently appeared on ‘The Pat McAfee Show’. There, he challenged Travis Kelce to have a debate on vaccines. Born in December 1983, Rodgers mentioned that this isn’t a “war” but he wants to have a “conversation”. He made it clear that he’s ready to have a duel with the Kansas City Chiefs star.

“Mr. Pfizer said he didn’t think he would be in vax war with me. This ain’t a war, homie. This is just conversation… But if you want to have some sort of duel, debate, have me on the podcast, come on the show, let us have a conversation,” Rodgers said.
The California-born QB further mentioned that he’d have Robert F. Kennedy on his team. It’s worth noting that Kennedy is a renowned anti-vaccine activist. Rodgers further said that Travis Kelce could have Tony Fauci or some other physician on his team. His statements clearly show that the 6-foot-2 NFL star has taken the rivalry quite seriously.
Travis Kelce must be interested in giving a sharp reply to the quarterback. Now, fans are waiting for the Ohio-born star to respond back to Aaron Rodgers.
How did the rivalry between Aaron Rodgers and Travis Kelce begin?
The vaccine war between Travis Kelce and Aaron Rodgers started in early October. It happened after the tight end collaborated with Pfizer to promote their COVID-19 vaccines. The 6-foot-5 player even did an ad commercial for them to encourage people to take vaccines. It didn’t go well with the former Green Bay Packers star who verbally attacked Kelce.
On ‘The Pat McAfee Show’, Aaron Rodgers referred to Kelce as “Mr. Pfizer”. The Chiefs tight end took the nickname quite playfully and mentioned that he doesn’t have any problem with it. “Who knew I’d get into the vax wars with Aaron Rodgers, man?,” Travis Kelce said. However, at the same time, he stood in support of the vaccines, pointing to their effectiveness.
Recently, Rodgers once again took a dig at the 2-time Super Bowl winner. This time, he indirectly commented on Kelce’s love life with Taylor Swift. Pat McAfee talked about Kelce dating the 1989 singer and asked Rodgers to shoot a shot at Britney Spears. Replying to him, the quarterback said that he’d be more “focused” on his “rehab” instead of love life.
It’s obvious that the war between Travis Kelce and Aaron Rodgers is getting bigger with time. Their distinct opinions on vaccines are the main reason behind all this. Kelce supports vaccines completely and is promoting them. Rodgers, on the other hand, has always opposed vaccines. He believes more in the use and effectiveness of psychedelics.
