UFC 294 is around the corner and after that, we will be left with just five PPVs before the milestone UFC 300. Fans are extremely excited about what UFC has in store for their milestone event. It is expected that Dana White is set to create one of the best fight cards for the event. In this article, we explore the rumors about what is expected from UFC 300.
Although UFC CEO White already has six power-packed PPVs to look at before moving on to the milestone, he does not shy away from questions related to UFC 300. He has already informed fans that the fights will be confirmed by early February 2024.
According to The Sun, White said, “I think we have fights all the way made up until February 3rd or 10th, or something like that… And we’ve got ideas for March and April.”
However, as of now, nothing is confirmed about the PPV. Let’s understand what could be the venue for the event.
UFC 1, the first-ever UFC PPV, took place at the McNichols Sports Arena in Denver, Colorado. UFC 100 and UFC 200 took place in Las Vegas, Nevada. It is expected that the trend will continue and UFC 300 will take place at the T-Mobile Arena on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada.
As for the date, let’s take a look at the recent trend. UFC 270 was the first PPV of 2022 and UFC 296 is set to be the last PPV of 2023. The UFC has PPV events every month but three out of 24 months from January 2022 to December 2023 have seen two PPVs.
UFC 300 will the fourth PPV of 2024. The fourth PPV of 2022 took place in April. Whereas, the fourth PPV of 2023 took place in March. As White said, we can expect something in the region of March-April 2024.
Conor McGregor and Ronda Rousey are rumored to make a comeback at UFC 300
The fight card of UFC 300 would be hard to predict. However, we can be assured that there might not be too many title defenses. At UFC 100, two titles were defended, whereas, at UFC 200, only one title was defended and an interim title was up for grabs.

The main event of UFC 300 is expected to feature Conor McGregor. The Irish fighter has not fought for over two years since his defeat to Dustin Poirier at UFC 264. He has recently entered the USADA testing pool. ‘The Notorious’ is expected to make his return six months from the first week of October. This could probably line up with UFC 300.
On the other hand, former UFC Women’s Bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey is also expected to make a comeback at UFC 300 according to recent reports. White told fans that Rousey was not going to come back. MMA journalist Ariel Helwani also claimed the same.

However, a source of the Daily Mail has claimed that Rousey will not return to the WWE anymore. She is probably targeting the vacant Bantamweight title. A return at UFC 300 would be fitting.
