While Formula 1 added some new races to the calendar this season, the Las Vegas Grand Prix became the most anticipated one. With the new circuit added to the calendar, the season will see yet another beautiful night race.
As Max Verstappen will soar to get yet another victory, while McLaren and Mercedes compete with Ferrari and Aston Martin right around the corner, the stakes will be high.
However, the track and the arena have seen some major preparations done for the Grand Prix alone. As it goes through some extreme restructuring, the hotels have started preparing to welcome people from around the world to get a taste of Las Vegas.
The race will be one of the first Saturday night races on the calendar. However, Qatar will be following in its footsteps next year.
What is the length of the Strip Circuit?
The Strip Circuit of Las Vegas was not included in any calendar. Although the circuit made appearances for two seasons, 1981 and 1982. But as time passed by, the circuit was completely forgotten about until it made its return as the Las Vegas Grand Prix this season.
And although a very new track, it should not be underestimated considering the track and the flat-out straights and hairpin corners.

Just like the incredible fight for a better position at Monaco, Las Vegas will have a similar track corner. The track is 3.8 miles long and will see drivers take it to the extreme to fight one another. This track will also welcome the return of Daniel Ricciardo for his first race since his crash.
The number of laps and expected lap times at the Las Vegas Grand Prix
Las Vegas opened its arms this season to welcome people from all over the world. With lavish hotels and casinos lined neatly alongside the Strip Circuit and the infamous Caesars Palace Hotel, will add variety to the races we have seen this season.
McLaren, however, will be more focused on getting past their rivals for a better position. Meanwhile, Mercedes will put their best foot forward to bring Lewis Hamilton to second place.

This means the race will be an action-packed hour with 50 laps for the race. The drivers will be lining up on a Saturday instead of Sunday. The tracks with medium circuit abrasiveness will give team principals the challenge they were searching for.
Considering the climate at the Qatar Grand Prix, Las Vegas will be much better and safer for drivers to drive. the estimated lap time for the track is 1 minute and 34 seconds.
The F1 drivers can cover the track in a record time or less to earn the privilege of a pole position.
What is the maximum speed on the Strip Circuit?
Las Vegas is renowned and well-known for its hotels, nightlife, and casinos. The city that stays awake will have the F1 bandwagon reach the Vegas city. Although new, these tracks have three straights which will allow drivers to hit throttle 85 % of the track.
