Forza Motorsport has been one of the biggest racing games in the genre of high-speed horsepower. Fans of this series are eagerly awaiting one of the hottest additions to the series. The eighth edition of the series, simply named, Forza Motorsport, arrives on October 10, 2023.
Ahead of the Forza Motorsport 8 release on October 10, the publisher Xbox has made three different editions of the game available for preorder. The game will be released on their native consoles Xbox Series X|S as well as on PC.
Like any other preorder program, the Forza Motorsport 8 preorder also comes with some fascinating in-game goodies for players, along with early access to the original game. Notably, first-party Xbox games, Forza Motorsport will also be available through Xbox Game Pass from the day it is launched.
Apart from the editions, players can also get extra content by preordering an add-on bundle. Game Pass members can get this add-on bundle for a discounted price.
Forza Motorsport 8 Editions
Xbox is offering Forza Motorsport preorders in four different editions as follows:
Forza Motorsport Standard Edition – $70
The Forza Motorsport standard edition comes with just the base game for $70. Being the most basic edition, it does not include any preorder bonuses. Players who buy a digital edition from the Xbox Store or download it via an Xbox Game Pass subscription will be able to play it on Xbox Series X|S and PC.
Similarly, Xbox Series X players can preorder a physical edition at the same price. However, this gives you access only to the Xbox version. Likewise, the same pattern will be followed for the Steam version for PC. Players can play only on PC.

Forza Motorsport Deluxe Edition – $90
The Forza Motorsport Deluxe edition costs $90 and includes the base game along with the Car Pass. The Car Pass brings along 30 cars that are newly introduced in the series. These 30 cars will be made available as one car per week for 30 weeks.

Forza Motorsport Premium Edition – $100
The most elite of the editions is the Forza Motorsport Premium edition which costs $100. This edition comes with the maximum number of perks. When compared to the Delux edition, at a difference of just $10 players get a lot more in-game content. for only $10 more than the Deluxe edition.
The premium edition game owners will get five days of early access which begins on October 5, along with the Car Pass, Race Day Car Pack, VIP Membership, and Welcome Pack. The Race Day Car Pack includes eight new cars that have never been seen in the series before.
Similarly, the VIP Membership brings in exclusive boosts and rewards. The best part of the VIP membership is that players get a permanent upgrade that helps double the credits they earn. Players also get five custom Forza Edition cars, exclusive driver gear, and Rivals events, that are reserved for VIP members.
On the other hand, the Welcome Pack will give players access to five cars when they start the game along with some credits to spend out of the gate. Looking at the above perks that are included in the Premium edition, this can be a worthy pick for players who play the game more often.

Forza Motorsport Premium Add-Ons Bundle – $40
The add-on bundle requires players to shell out an additional $40. Notably, Xbox Game Pass subscribers can get a 10% discount on the Add-Ons Bundle.
Forza Motorsport 8 is technically the thirteenth main installment in the series, and the eighth one in the Forza Motorsport game after its predecessor, Forza Motorsport 7. The latest addition is a soft reboot for the sub-series. First announced at the Xbox Showcase in 2020, a new trailer and release date of the same was announced during the 2023 Xbox Showcase.
