Deion Sanders, the head coach of the Colorado Buffaloes, shared some important news about his son Shedeur Sanders, who is 21 years old and plays quarterback. Shedeur and his brother Shilo are likely to stay for one more season with the Colorado Buffaloes. Deion Sanders made this clear during the Denver Broncos game against the Washington Commanders, which they attended.
Deion Sanders mentioned that Shedeur and Shilo are not planning to go to the NFL in 2024. “We kinda got into it once we came here…” said Sanders. “Y’all ain’t going nowhere.”

Shedeur Sanders is recognized as one of the top five quarterbacks talent in the 2024 NFL draft class, along with Caleb Williams from USC and Drake Maye from North Carolina.
Shedeur Sanders has done well in the three games he played for the Buffaloes. He completed nearly 79% of his passes, gaining 1,251 yards and 10 touchdowns, with only one interception. He is very talented and could probably join the NFL when he is ready.
Shilo Sanders, who plays as a safety, can also join the 2024 draft because he’s been in college for five years. But he can choose to play another year for Colorado if he wants. Shilo hasn’t gotten as much attention as his brother Shedeur on the football field, but he’s a good player. He got one interception, one forced fumble, and made 19 tackles in the three games he played for the Buffaloes.
Many videos have captured Sanders’ rigorous training sessions. What’s particularly noteworthy is his chance to train alongside football legends, showcasing a rising dedication and passion in Sanders’ career path.
Shedeur Sanders training alongside NFL legends
Even before he became a counselor at the Manning Passing Academy, he had the incredible opportunity to train with some football legends. One of those legends was none other than Tom Brady!

Brady has consistently praised Shedeur, and during the BRADY brand launch last October, he said, “Shedeur Sanders is the perfect ambassador for BRADY.”
Brady sees Shedeur as an exceptional football player and quarterback, and he believes Shedeur embodies the values that the BRADY brand stands for. “Not only is he an exceptional football player and quarterback but he is one of the most influential players of his generation,” Brady said.

Shedeur has immense also shown respect for the 7-time Super Bowl winner. Shedeur said, “I went down to Tampa and trained with Tom before he was with the Bucs and he was just a real cool person……whenever I needed something, I reached out to him, which is amazing.”
He admired Brady not only for his football skills but also for being a great person. Shedeur sees Brady as the GOAT, and it’s awe-inspiring for Shedeur to be playing in the same position as him. Their relationship grew, leading to collaborative ideas between their teams, and the rest is history.
Not only Tom Brady but another notable legend Peyton Manning also influenced Shedeur’s growth.
Manning’s Omaha Productions once released an extended version of Deion’s episode on Peyton’s Places. In this episode, fans witness Shedeur practicing while his dad and Peyton take turns being wide receivers and cornerbacks.
Shedeur gained crucial insights that day, especially about ball control and the secrets of executing Peyton Manning’s famous “naked bootleg” move.
Deion always emphasizes how challenging it is to defend against Manning’s play-action passes.
He once shared, “…we always say if you can see the naked hand, you can start the band.”
The wisdom Shedeur gains from these football legends, including other professional quarterbacks he’s had the chance to work with, is invaluable and will undoubtedly bolster his skills. Shedeur has all the qualities needed to become a great player. He has a strong support system, with many people cheering him on along this journey
