We all know what LeBron James is capable of doing on the court. For several years, he’s made a strong case for being dubbed the NBA’s greatest player of all time. Not only that but even though he’s one of the oldest players in the league, he still manages to average numbers that only athletes in their prime are capable of. Especially over the last two seasons, James has shown that he wants to retire as the No.1 ranked player in the league.
Just last year, the Los Angeles Lakers forward had an outstanding season. He averaged 28.9 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 6.8 assists per game. While he did create a good framework to make a run for league MVP, it was ultimately injuries and the Lakers’ downfall that got him nowhere. And for the first time in 20 seasons, James did not earn a single vote for the MVP award. In spite of this, he continued to push through for the Lakers. And to everyone’s surprise, they made the playoffs.
LeBron James along with the help of Anthony Davis managed to lead the Lakers to the Western Conference Finals. The Lakers defeated the Memphis Grizzlies and the defending champions, Golden State Warriors. However, the Denver Nuggets were just too powerful to get past. They swept the Lakers in the WCF and proceeded to win the title. James and his teammates were severely disappointed. He made shocking remarks about possibly retiring as well.
Kai Jones gets humbled by a fan for claiming he can beat LeBron James in a 1v1
LeBron James stunned the entire world with his comments. Several fans were left in the dark for weeks until he squashed the retirement rumors. As per his agent, Rich Paul, the 4x NBA Champion felt extremely demotivated following the Lakers’ playoff elimination. However, weeks later James reminded himself that he was still able to compete at peak form. So why call quits? Keep in mind that LeBron constantly keeps himself in shape and ready to perform.
Recently, Charlotte Hornets player Kai Jones was humbled by a fan after disrespecting the King. Someone tagged him on X saying, “@242_jones will you at least admit Lamelo and Brandon Miller better than you? Like, you’re midway through the roster. 50% of the hornets are better than you.”
I’ve had a higher fg% than those guys since I came out the womb and none of them can guard me so know your ball before you talk to the one in here MF 🦋💕🐐🥇🌈 https://t.co/3B6bG4VN5O

He replied by saying, “I’ve had a higher fg% than those guys since I came out the womb and none of them can guard me so know your ball before you talk to the one in here MF.” Popular X account “Ballsack Sports” replied to Jones asking him if he could beat LeBron James in a 1v1 game, to which he agreed by saying, “Yes 100%.”
Yes 100%

alright now we know you’re on drugs 100%

A fan slammed Jones with a counter, saying, “Alright now we know you’re on drugs 100%.” Jones has been in the league for two seasons averaging a total of 2.7 points, 2 rebounds, and 0.3 assists per game in 9.1 minutes. Additionally, he usually comes off the bench late in rotation, mainly as a filler. It’s obvious that Jones isn’t on the same level as LeBron James which is why he got humbled.
