AEW All In 2023 took place on August 27, 2023, at Wembley Stadium in London, England. At the event, CM Punk was all set to face Samoa Joe. However, before the event, Tony Khan, the founder of AEW, left him stranded at the airport.
As per reports, when AEW star CM Punk landed for the AEW All In 2023 event, no vehicle was present at Heathrow Airport to take him to the hotel. In fact, no one from AEW was at the airport for him.
Tony Khan’s promotion previously provided him with the contact details of the assigned driver. Punk then went on to send a text to that number; however, it bounced back. Helpless, the AEW star decided to reach the hotel on his own by taking a train.
AEW Management really ghosted and made CM Punk go on a train on the way to his hotel, damn.
If this is their way to get CM Punk to leave AEW, that’s a bad idea especially if WWE gets a hold of him. It’ll actually be so over. pic.twitter.com/5bJ30dznbY

Unfortunately, he got lost on his way to the hotel. However, thankfully, he was helped out by a few of his fans. Now that Tony Khan has shown disrespect towards the Star, fans seem to be joining the suit as well.
A few fans took to their X handle to provide a comment on this incident. While some of them wished that he could “go back to WWE“, some expressed that “The decline of CM Punk is quite sad“. One fan even talked about how Tony had shown “Mad disrespect” towards Punk.
However, the fact is that Punk successfully reached the venue and was able to face Joe at the event at his scheduled time. Punk and Joe had been feuding for a long time, it was finally time for them to face each other inside the ring with a lot on the line.
Did CM Punk emerge victorious at AEW All-In?
A total of eleven matches were contested at All-In 2023. However, the pay-per-view event kicked off with the match between Punk and Samoa Joe, where Punk was set to defend the Real World Championship against Samoa Joe.
As soon as the match began, Joe and Punk immediately tried to take each other down. Joe nailed a ‘Pele Kick’ and went for the ‘Muscle Buster’. However, Punk turned the tables around and nailed a ‘Roundhouse Kick’ followed by a ‘Leg Drop’.
Joe came with a ‘Snap Powerslam’ and went for the ‘Superplex’. However, Punk delivered the Pepsi Plunge for the win. Thus, Punk did emerge victorious at the AEW All-In 2023. He successfully defeated Samoa Joe to retain the Real World Championship.
CM Punk sets the tone for #AEWAllIn with a fantastic victory!

Thus, though Punk faced hardship before the pay-per-view event, he was able to come out of the event with a satisfactory ending. However, it remains to be seen if Punk has anything to say about the trouble he went through.
