Max Verstappen has showcased his brilliance in the sport quite a lot of times. The Dutchman has proved his worthiness of the top spot. After his big breakthrough in the sport in 2021, the driver has been unbeatable. He has been the only one to stop Hamilton from winning his record-breaking 8th title. Verstappen has done the unimaginable after he won 15 races in a season singlehandedly. His performance spoke volumes about his brilliance.
The Dutchman continues to close in on his third World Championship title this season. And while he competes to do so, he has also broken multiple records. Max Verstappen has become the only other driver other than Michael Schumacher to win the first 10 of the 12 races of the season. However, Schumacher’s brilliance has not topped anywhere near Verstappen’s thirst to break another record.

Sebastian Vettel is the only driver to have nine consecutive wins in a season. Since Max Verstappen has equaled his record at the Dutch Grand Prix, it won’t be long until he breaks his record at Monza.
Schumacher has not even come close to this record winning only 7 consecutive wins in a season in his career. Verstappen has achieved major success in his 2023 season. With every single race he conquers, the drivers have more eyes turn to him.
Will Max Verstappen beat Schumacher’s record of 5 consecutive championship wins?
Michael Schumacher has had some of the most notable records in history. Schumacher recorded the highest percentage of points in 2002. The record was then broken by Fernando Alonso four years later. However, Max Verstappen has singlehandedly topped those charts residing above Sebastian Vettel’s record in 2011.
With the Dutchman’s race win at Zandvoort, he has also crossed Schumacher’s record of winning the first 10 races by winning his 11th race this weekend. As he continues to drive towards achieving more and more, the Dutchman leaves everyone trailing behind.
Max Verstappen has won most of his races more than 20 seconds ahead of everyone. While clinching 339 points so far into the season, no other driver has come even close to the Dutchman.

The Red Bull star might also become the one who breaks a 70-year-old record in Formula 1 history. However, Michael Schumacher has won five consecutive championship titles. While Max has impressively slashed every record, would he be able to break the record of Schumacher’s one true achievement?
With three world championships in the bag, he would have only three more to go until he wins 6 consecutive world championship titles. However, with the 2026 regulations making things seem uncertain for all the teams, will his reign end once he equals Schumacher’s 5 consecutive titles?
