Lewis Hamilton has sent out a warning to Max Verstappen prior to the Dutch Grand Prix. The two have been rivals and have battled multiple times through the course of their careers. However, the two have found ways to mend their bridges despite their ugly Abu Dhabi race. Before Verstappen’s dominance, Hamilton reigned the sport.
Mercedes was an 8-time Constructors Champion and Lewis Hamilton continues to be a seven-time world champion. But soon the champion flew too close to the sun and burned his wings. Verstappen, on the contrary, took the crown and the throne and had a feast of his first title win. Ever since the 2021 championship win, Red Bull has been recording winning streaks.
However, the team’s success brought about Mercedes‘ downfall. Since the 2022 season, Mercedes has won only one race and achieved multiple podiums. But this has been all that the Mercedes has achieved after watching their glory days burn. However, Lewis Hamilton is now sending a serious warning to the two-time champion that he is no longer here to play games.
Before the Dutch Grand Prix, every driver participated in the press conference. The same was on Thursday when Lewis Hamilton participated in attending one of the press conferences. That is when the topic of him beating the Bulls rose up. The star, however, was pretty confident about his capability to beat Max Verstappen.
Will Lewis Hamilton finally beat Max Verstappen?
Hamilton has had ten years of experience in the sport. More than that he has beaten Schumacher, Fernando Alonso, Sebastian Vettel, and such brilliance of the sport. This speaks volumes on Hamilton’s greatness but what does that say about Max Verstappen? The Dutchman has singlehandedly outperformed the seven-time champion in his own game after only a few years of attempts.
When Lewis Hamilton was questioned whether he could clinch his 8th title win, he said, “I’m trying to prepare myself for when the car is ready to be able to challenge and beat Max.”
“Any way we could probably do that currently is just capitalizing on any potential mistakes, which they don’t tend to make but if they do, I’ll be there.”

The driver has analyzed his next steps toward taking back his glory. He believes that while Red Bull hasn’t quite made as many mistakes, he is only waiting around until they do to attack. After all his plans to dethrone Verstappen failed, the Mercedes star has now confessed to waging a war. The summer break has come to an end but the excitement has stayed the same. All the drivers are back at the paddock with much higher spirits this race.
