UFC Legend Chuck Liddell has spoken out, claiming that it won't work for YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul's surprising transition to MMA from boxing in the next 8–9 months.

The YouTuber-turned-boxer recently clashed with former UFC star Nate Diaz in a 10-round cruiserweight boxing match on August 5, which concluded in favor of Paul via unanimous decision.

Jake, who had recently signed a multi-year contract with the PFL, offered to fight his most recent rival, Nate, in an MMA bout. In an 'Impaulsive' podcast, Jake opined that he can take on Nate easily.

Paul mentioned that he could easily defeat Nate Diaz in MMA with just 'eight to nine months of training.' Whereas, in a recent interview with TMZ, Hall of Famer Chuck Liddell gave his word.

"That tells me he [Paul] just doesn't understand the difference; that he has no clue about the difference between MMA and boxing." stated Liddell, who has been an idol for many upcoming MMA fighters.

Though Liddell acknowledged Paul's wrestling background and significant size, which can give him an upper hand as he competed in amateur wrestling while growing up.

However, Chuck did mention that Paul will require an extra amount of time to adapt to a proper stance and deal with Nate Diaz's unconventional and legendary jiu-jitsu skills.

Liddell also indicated that by having a boxing stance, Jake would open himself up for leg kicks and be compromised. He advised Paul to practice some grappling, which might result in a submission.
