Soccer pundit and former player Gary Lineker shared his thoughts on English striker Harry Kane’s debut for his new club Bayern Munich. Kane completed the switch to Bundesliga on August 11 after successfully completing his medicals.
In his recent social media post, Lineker mentioned that he believes the former Tottenham Hotspur star might make his first start for the German giants during today’s DFL Super Cup match against RB Leipzig.
It seems @HKane could well be in the @FCBayernEN squad for tonight’s DFL Super Cup. He could win more trophies in one day than he has in more than a decade at Spurs. 🥴

Lineker’s post read, “It seems Harry Kane could well be in Bayern Munich’s squad for tonight’s DFL Super Cup. He could win more trophies in one day than he has in more than a decade at Spurs.”
Bayern Munich signed the striker for a huge $110 million from Tottenham. This was after two of their previous bids were rejected by the London-based club. Aside from the price, why the match is so significant, is because it presents Harry Kane an opportunity to win legitimate trophy, which the English striker has not done in his 11-year career at Tottenham Hotspurs.
While winning a trophy never comes with a guarantee, Kane will certainly find himself in positions to win more trophies at Bayern Munich than he did in Tottenham.

Harry Kane has become a world-renowned striker thanks to his heroics in the Tottenham jersey. Even though the club has always been a subject of disappointment for it’s fans, Kane has always managed to be their knight in the shining armor. Even last season, when Hotspurs finished 8th in the Premier League, Kane still managed to net 30 goals. He was the second-highest score behind Erling Haaland.
Kane has been a part of the London-based club for over a decade now. The striker has played around 480 games for the club and scored 280 goals for the club along with 64 assists throughout his career.
