UFC fighter Sean Strickland is known for his peculiar moments on and off the Octagon. He doesn’t shy away from speaking his heart out. He has called out other fighters, pop culture, and even Hollywood multiple times.
Recently, Strickland’s old photos went viral on social media and it amazed the MMA world from left to right. The special part about the resurfaced photos is that the fighter is shown with beautiful long hair in them. Now, it may not sound like a big deal but Strickland has always been seen in that trademark buzz cut of his.
MMA fans reacted with sheer praise after a video of Sean Strickland with long hair and a chiseled body surfaced. The video was from the weigh-in event of the UFC Fight Night 61: Bigfoot vs. Frank Mir. The event took place at Ginásio Gigantinho in Porto Alegre, Brazil in February 2015.
‘According to some fans, Sean Strickland looked like a ‘Disney Prince’ in that video. One Reddit user went very particular with his description of Strickland in the video.
“He looks like the son of a British lord who got shipwrecked in Africa and was raised by gorillas.”
A comment said that the UFC fighter was looking like Walt Jr.
“Walter Jr. without cerebral palsy”.
For those who don’t know, Walt Jr. is a character from one of the most popular TV shows, Breaking Bad.
Another Reddit user suggested that Strickland could have easily gotten a modeling contract.
“Mf was a nose job away from a modelling contract.”
Sean Strickland hasn’t let his hair grow back for nearly a decade
Despite having such great hair that compliments the MMA fighter’s look, Sean Strickland likes to keep his hair short. UFC Fight Night 61 in February 2015 was the last time he was seen in that hairstyle.
In his very next fight in the UFC which took place in July, the same year against Igor Araujo, Strickland was seen in his typical buzz cut.
The middleweight fighter often goes too far with his comments on social media. This is also why he was banned from Twitter in May last year because of his controversial comments on the LGBTQ community.
How is it controversial to say I don’t want my kid to be gay??? What parent wakes up and says “man I really hope my son is gay, grandkids are over rated” lmao!!!!
But hey its 2023 maybe that’s the goal.. You’re extra special if your kids gay.. very modern woke.
