Setting his name as one of the youngest fighters in UFC, Raul Rosas Jr. has done an incredible job that has impressed MMA fans while being just 18 years old.

'El Nino Problema' proved himself to be a worthy Bantamweight opponent by successfully defeating Jay Perrin at UFC 282 the previous year. Currently, he has a record of 7-1.

Rosas Jr. was in his senior year of high school in 2022 when he was interviewed by Brett Okamoto about his management of academics and professional life, to which his response was quite unexpected.

He said as a response, "I imagine having a pro record and everything but I didn't imagine being in the UFC while being in high school. So, you know, it's crazy for me to think about it like that."

"I had to sacrifice all of that - like hanging out with friends, going to parties. But, I don't have time for that because I'm always at the gym and preparing for my next fight." said Raul.

He mentioned sacrificing all the things for preparing for his fight would reap  sweet fruits in the future. Hence he talked about living on 'Sacrifice now, enjoy later' value, which motivates him.

Rosas Jr. has also been homeschooled to make more time for his fight preparations. 'El Nino Problema' will soon enter college. He grew up with his two siblings and his parents.

The UFC wholeheartedly embraced Raul after his brilliant performance against Mando Gutiérrez on the Dana White Contender Series. He also holds a purple belt in Jiu-Jitsu.
