The past few weeks in the NBA have been hectic with the end of the 2023 NBA Finals and the beginning of trades and drafts this season.

With a majority of players becoming free agents this season, there have been many discussions on the players' probable trade with an example of Washington Wizards' Kristaps Porziņģis.

Drafted in 2015 by the New York Knicks Kristaps Porziņģis has been among the active players of the NBA in his career with three franchises, including Dallas Mavericks as a power guard and center.

Averaging 23.2 points, 8.4 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 1.5 blocks this season, Kristaps is on the lookout for the Boston Celtics on a three-team deal with Clippers to acquire Malcolm Brogdon.

With Malcolm's injury raising concerns, the deal with the Clippers ended and involved Memphis Grizzlies in the deal by acquiring Celtics Marcus Smart and Grizzlies Tyus Jones from the Wizards.

The trade is, however, expected to happen soon with all the paperwork and discussions on the three-team deal with Los Angeles Clippers and Boston Celtics.

As a result, Kristaps Porzingis is currently in a potential opt-in and trade deal, landing him with the Celtics joining players like All-Stars Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum, and Blake Griffin.

Besides this, the $36 million player option in his contract for the 2023-24 season has reportedly been opted out, making him an unrestricted free agent this season and facilitating his trade to the Boston Celtics.
