It has seemingly taken the internet in a whirlwind as the heated rivals Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler finally come face to face. The duo is all set to buckle themselves up for their new duties as coaches in this season of TUF. With the clash between Team Chandler and Team Conor in UFC, MMA fans will get to witness very thrilling bouts.
Recently, UFC shared a teaser trailer for the upcoming show. Fans found the whole video pretty exciting. But the thing that got everyone’s interest heightened was the heated moment between Conor and Chandler. Just at the end of the video, Conor is seen shoving Chandler in his face.

This has led to the fans’ excitement about the bout between the two even stronger. Although no confirmation has been passed, the air surrounding the topic of a clash between Conor and Chandler is growing denser by the day. If and when they do clash, then it will be a unique thing to watch as both have very distinctive styles of fighting.
What do Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler have to say about the situation?
Dana White reported on the heated situation during an interview. “Chandler and Conor were very respectful to each other. And then some things started escalating that you’ll see on the show. And yeah they do not like each other now.” White also added, “ A lot of s*** went down on Friday.”
And after some time, Conor McGregor also decided to break his silence. “We had an issue. Obviously, tempers are flaring. It’s a f****** hostile thing, right? There’s respect and admiration. I like his style and he likes my style. We have a good little buzz, that’s the way it should be. It is still a competitive fire. I’m still gonna mince him.”
The statement by Conor has led to his fans get, even more, fired up about the face-off between the two. But not only Conor, but Michael Chandler also issued statements on the heated altercation between them.
Iron Mike added, “Conor’s going to feel my presence from the very beginning of the fight and then from there wherever the fight takes us. If I want to pick him up and put him down, I can pick him up and put him down and put a beating on him and get a submission that way.”

Both Conor and Chandler possess very commendable records in their UFC careers. Conor holds an impressive scoreboard of 22-8, 19 of which were KOs, 2 were decisions, and 1 submission. He also has experience in competing in various divisions like featherweight, lightweight, and welterweight.
On the other hand, Chandler possesses a record of 23-8, in which he had 11 KOs, 7 submissions, and 5 decision wins respectively. Chandler also has experience in all weight divisions as compared to Conor, except featherweight.
