With GTA 5 becoming the most-viewed game by streaming hours in 2022, Rockstar Games announced the development of GTA 6 last year in February.

However, the GTA 6 development team faced its worst nightmare as some crucial inside information, along with footage and maps, were leaked online last year and are still circulating on the internet.

Rockstar Games also tweeted about the matter and employed the FBI for investigation. The FBI caught the hacker quite immediately, who turned out to be a 17-year-old from the hacker group ‘Lapsus$’.

However, the leaks have definitely increased the hype for the game, and the leaked map, which is probably going back to Vice City, looks absolutely huge.

Although the actual map hasn't been leaked, fans have used the Rage Engine Units that Rockstar uses to create the game to piece together the information for various locations.

The map reportedly features real-life Miami buildings. Fans have used Google Earth to put the picture into perspective, and it has excited them even more.

Apart from the accuracy of real-life locations and buildings, the map reportedly features farm areas and racing tracks, along with other places like beaches, pawn shops, and strip malls.

A journalist named Jason Schreier claimed to have spoken with Rockstar Games and confirmed that the leaks are accurate. Fans were surely happy after this, but the company was less so.
