Controversies circling Novak Djokovic and his stance on Covid-19 vaccination sky-rocketed when the Serbian professional refused from getting an anti-covid injection and stated that he would rather skip major tournaments than be forced into getting a vaccination.
The 22-time Grand Slam champion in 2022 was denied from participating in the Australian Open championship and was further detained by the Australian government and deported from the country after canceling his visa.
Nole’s attitude towards the vaccination has been what many critics have stated as hostile. This has, in turn, given a topic for numerous sports activists to discuss. Amongst those notable names, commentator Joe Rogan along with Aaron Rodgers discussed the Serb’s physical well-being and his adamancy of not getting vaccinated.
American UFC commentator Joe Rogan in an episode on his podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience, sat across American football quarterback Aaron Rodgers and chewed over the fiasco surrounding tennis superstar Novak Djokovic’s stance on the Covid-19 vaccination mandate which hailed a rainstorm of troubles for the Serb.
After introducing Nole’s name in the episode, Rogan begins by admiring his peak physique and his impeccable physical awareness by saying, “We talk about the healthiest human beings on earth which is bananas. The guy’s [Novak] already had Covid and recovered from it, and he is one of the best athletes in the world and his body is in tip-top condition.”
“But no, he can’t come, he didn’t follow the rules. It defies science, it defies logic and doesn’t make any sense. None of it makes any sense, especially in this stage of the pandemic,” he added in retaliation to the ban placed on Djokovic for not following the Covid-19 guidelines, and ceasing his participation in the Australian Open.
This isn’t the first time Djoker has been applauded for keeping his body in a good shape and there lies an exceptionably good reason behind that, a lifestyle change that has helped him to boost his overall health and physical strength.
